How our NEW Greece Collection is made

Picture it: you’re on vacation, you’re wearing your floatiest dress (the one that’s been trapped at the back of your closet all winter), there’s sun dappling through the olive trees and you’re wandering along cobbled streets lined with trinket-laden boutiques. Sounds good, right?

Whether you managed to jet off to sunnier shores this year or not, our Greece Collection is bringing that feeling home. Our team traveled the country and its surrounding islands, working with local artisans to co-create a collection of authentic souvenirs - the kind you *actually* want. Here, we’re telling the stories behind some of the capsule’s key products.

Silk Sea Sponge

Silk Sea Sponge

Our Exploration Team met the Kokkinos family on Kalymnos, a tiny island famous for its sea sponges. With 65 years experience, the family really know their sponges, and showed our team two of the best around: a fine silk sea sponge and traditional honeycomb sponge. We went with silk in the collection, for its cloud-like softness. Perfect for using in-shower on face and body.

Versatile Towel

Versatile Towel

A boutique hotel in Argostoli, Kefalonia introduced our team to Greek lifestyle label ‘Sea You Soon’, and co-founding brothers, Grigoris and Costas. They make our Versatile Towel with eco-friendly TENCEL™, spun from eucalyptus fibres to keep things fresh. It’s fast-drying, lightweight and brings Greek style to you (we love the hand-tied tassels). So, you can take it to the beach, use after a long bath or drape over a table setting. Told you it’s versatile.

Ceramic Dish

Greece isn’t all glittering blue seas and sun-bleached buildings you know (although, yeah, it has a lot of that too). Our Exploration Team were inspired by everything from olive trees and herbs to the lush green landscape throughout their travels, and so Athens-based ceramicist Myrto used earthier tones on each of our hand-glazed trinket dishes.

P.s. We’re donating 100% profits from the Ceramic Dish in Ochre to Pnoi Agapis, supporting cancer patients and their families through art therapy classes.
